This is a very interesting place. I stopped there for happy hour with some friends. To me, it kind of has a college vibe because it is in a renovated warehouse, but it is still very nice. I started with an IPA and a margarita. They were both very good. No complaints. I would certainly have them again. The fried pickles, french fries, and meatless tacos were surprisingly good. They were great flavored snacks to eat while you have drinks and talk with friends.
On the other hand, the hamburger was devoid of any seasoning. I thought it was kind of strange for such a big miss. Even a little salt and pepper would go a long way. The hot wings were very hot, but they didn’t have much flavor. I really don’t like when people confuse hot with flavor.
Toward the end of the gathering, I had the oatmeal latte and their blueberry pastry. Both of them were VERY good (perhaps a new guilty pleasure for me). So while I cannot put my stamp of approval on their meat products, they know how to work the hell out of vegetables and non-meat products. They seem like a very great option for vegetarians or those who are looking for meat alternatives. I will certainly be back. I will likely shy away from the wings and burgers, but I am sure I will walk away fully satisfied with the wide assortment of drinks and other food options. Last note: A special shout out to the wait staff and the gentleman who I can only assume is the manager. They seem to take great pride in ensuring the customers have a great time in their establishment. They were attentive and didn’t sweat the small stuff. Because of their great attitude and attentiveness, I certainly stayed longer and spent more than I was planning.
